Wooo! Back on track! Down 2.9lbs this week, bringing me down to a total of 32.5lbs in the past 15 weeks. Time has been flying by, and I am still sticking with it. I was a little concerned about last week as I have been having trouble keeping up with my tracking, but I think that I have just made such huge changes to what I have been eating that it helps a lot. I even got to enjoy that oh so bad, but oh so GOOD dinner out with my friend at Olive Garden last week. It was a wonderful cheat night, and I am so glad I’m not paying for it now.
I have started keeping fresh cut up veggies in the fridge again for when those snack attacks hit, and that has been helping me stay on track. I even made one of my old favourite veggies dips with vegetation soup mix, mixed with fat free sour cream.
One of my biggest struggles since starting my weight-loss journey was drinking enough water. I love water, but getting in as much as I should has been hard. Not that long ago I discovered Mio on one of my shopping trips. I know that some people frown upon water enhancements like these, but they help me get way more into my system than drinking it plain. Even just a tiny squirt to add some flavour helps a lot. I love the flavours they have, strawberry watermelon my favourite of the bunch. I keep one or two in my purse for on the go! (*I am not getting anything from this, I just really love the product!). One of the only downsides to Mio was it was only available in the States – or so I thought. Today while in Walmart we found a big display, which makes me super happy I can get it close to home !
I am hoping for another good week this week to help me get closer to my earlier June goal. I have been browsing the website for my dresses that I want to order (http://pinupgirlclothing.com) and finding lots that I love! Perfect for the tea party wedding shower I plan on wearing one too. Only 17.5lbs to go!
